An ancient Chinese Jun bowl from the Jin Dynasty (1115–1234) provided the inspiration for this sterling silver museum reproduction. Stylized swirl calligraphy character featured on the bottom of the glazed dish from which this design is based is more than 5,000 years old. The character has several meanings, including first, primary, eminent and vitality. Pierced with backs. 1”l x 1/2”w.
