
Pewabic Pottery DIA Gate Tile
Bring home a piece of the DIA. Pewabic Pottery has produced its popular tiles, vessels and architectural ornamentation since 1903. This ceramic tile was inspired by the two sets of gates guarding the entrances to the Great Hall and the Romanesque Hall at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Installed c.1960, the design of the gates is attributed to the internationally renowned architect Minoru Yamasaki. Green. 6" x 6".
